A detached shoot-bolt left this Panoramic Doors™ system stuck closed. Replacement hardware restored operation, followed by complimentary track cleaning and lubrication.
The ocean was just beyond the glass, but a sticking door kept the homeowners from opening their Panoramic Doors™ system. Portellē was called to identify the problem and restore its operation.
Our inspection revealed that the shoot-bolt had detached from the locking mechanism. When the lock was engaged, the bolt could become lodged in the top track, preventing the door from opening. We removed the affected shoot-bolt and rusted screws, then installed a new shoot-bolt and replacement screws.
We also noted visible wear where the door had been rubbing over time. To complete the visit, we provided complimentary track cleaning and lubrication to support smoother movement. With the hardware repair complete, the homeowners could once again open their doors to the coastal air and view.

Doors sticking or refusing to open? Portellē can inspect your system, identify the cause, and recommend the repairs needed to bring ease back to everyday use.
